The Bound Brook JFK Democratic Club is the social arm of the local Democratic Party Organization. The club was formally created in March 1966 and registered with the State of New Jersey as an unincorporated, not for profit organization. Membership is open to residents of Bound Brook who support the Democratic Party and who wish to develop friendships and relationships with like-minded individuals. The Club and its members are dedicated to community service and the promotion of good government. Monthly meetings provide members with the opportunity to hear about pertinent local issues from active council members, other elected officials and a variety of invited speakers. There is always a lively question/answer session followed by refreshments and (usually) an early adjournment. The Club meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month at the Codrington Field House in Codrington Park on Thompson Avenue. Meetings start at 7:00 PM. Two meetings out of the year are strictly social events: A summer (August) picnic and a holiday (December) party. There is no meeting in July. During campaign season the meeting schedule may be expanded (more than once a month) to respond to the needs of the candidates and the campaign committee. The membership year runs from January to December and yearly dues are $10.00, payable on or before September 1st of each year. Members may make additional financial donations to the club. The officers for the 2010-2012 term are: JFK Club President –Tim Braden, JFK Club Vice President – Ben Auletta, JFK Club Secretary --Joan Ruberto, JFK Club Treasurer --Ann Ruggerie
