Welcome!

And thank you for visiting the website for the Bound Brook Democratic Committee. Our organization is dedicated to the progressive ideas and platform of the Democratic Party. We work at the National, State, County, and Local levels for the election of Democratic candidates.

For updates about our town, county and state, check this website often, along with the Bound Brook Democrats Facebook page.  We would be honored if you would “like” us and keep in touch.

The Bound Brook Democrats offer plenty of opportunity to get involved and be active both politically and socially.  Our JFK Democratic Club meets regularly, offering updates on council meetings and the chance to meet and socialize with like-minded neighbors and friends.  We’d love to have you join us—and bring a friend!

Many of our members participate in regularly scheduled community activities:
•   Marching (or riding) as a group in the annual Memorial Day Parade
•   Helping to staff the booth at the Somerset County 4-H Fair
•   Staffing a booth at the Riverfest Street Fair *
•   Helping out at the annual Halloween Parade **
•   The annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony ***
If you’d like to join us as a part of these (and other) activities, please contact us.

* Riverfest Street Fair was cancelled this year because the Republican Borough Council refused to allow the Economic Development Committee (EDAC) to meet, make and finalize preparations for the event.
** The annual Halloween Parade was suspended this year because of Hurricane Sandy.
*** The annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony was cancelled this year as well, because of a lack of participation or coordination between the Republican Borough Council and the Chamber of Commerce.

Our Link Up page has contact information for Somerset County’s elected officials, U.S. Senators, and Representatives, the Governor’s office and the White House, the state and national Democratic Committees, and the Borough of Bound Brook’s website and OEM website.

Once again, thank you for visiting our website. We hope you visit often for updates about our town, county and state. Please feel free to contact us with questions, comments or suggestions.
